Mercy Running, Mercy Found

i started this piece as an just an ink drawing. upon finishing it i immediately knew i wanted to paint it in Photoshop. the next morning i took to the scanner and went to work, working on it on my breaks @ job throughout the week.

i did a bit of research from Alice X.Z. and TheIrisOn, Erik Jones. i love their digital works and Jones' mixed media always sparked interest and curiosity in myself & my work. so i used some videos of each to draw some technical inspiration.

i wanted to push this thing to a new place i've yet to really visit in my skills and out came this mix of shape, color, and tone i'm not used to but enjoied immensely.
